Coherence's three copper rings

why we're building this

tools people can
carry forward.

people should be able to understand the tools they use, keep the things they create, and help their communities.

we're building around those needs, with room for others to check, improve and continue the work. useful connections between projects should be extras you choose.

coherence is a nonprofit in formation, founded by Zauh Valen.

fair questions

before you
jump in.

what can I use now?

you can read newsroom reporting through emergence and AI interviews through xray at fact.ngo. the other projects are still being built or planned.

do I need every project to use one?

no. we're designing each tool to work on its own. connections between them should be useful extras, with clear choices and permissions.

where does financial support go?

the current support route is Zauh Valen's Ko-fi page. check its details before contributing. receipt is planned and does not yet track these payments. we haven't published a budget or spending report here yet.

can I inspect or change the software?

open-source development is central to the work. check each project's current code and licence before using it. this site's source is licensed under AGPL-3.0-only.

is therapy available?

no. therapy is a planned project. therapist involvement and clinical testing are needed before it could be offered. it is not an available treatment.
