coherence · a little more context
start with
a real need.
a useful collaboration begins with the people affected, a narrow problem and a way to check whether the work helps.
keep the first step small
choose a need a community actually has. explain what already happens, what is difficult and what would count as an improvement. match the need to the project's current stage before proposing a trial.
agree on the essentials
- who participates, and who can say no or stop.
- what each side contributes and can realistically support.
- what information is needed, who can access it and how it will be removed.
- how to assess the result, including possible harms and reasons to stop.
- what can be shared publicly and what remains private.
this prepares a proposal; it does not submit one or establish a partnership. a public collaboration intake is not open on this site yet.
check the project stages before planning a dependency or trial.
